To kick off The Weekender 2021, we played the songs from our new record Open Door Policy for an online audience through Relix and Twitch. This also doubled as a record release celebration, and it was the first live performance ever for about half of these songs. ODP was mostly recorded at the end of 2019, so it felt incredible to finally have these songs out in the world and to be playing and hearing them live for people around the world who were now familiar with this music. Of course, we very much look forward to the time when we can do this with a live audience in the room, but this presentation of our new music was thrilling for the band.
